Birthday Cake & Bad Decisions

This shoot was a fun one.

The concept? A woman who went all out for her birthday — baked a cake, threw on the cute apron, even wore his favorite heels. But her husband? Couldn’t make it home. Late at work again. He always is.

So, what does she do?

Smashes the cake. Lights his cigar. Drinks his whiskey. Throws a finger to the camera and doesn’t hold back.

The whole vibe was playful with a dark twist — exactly the kind of offbeat story I love shooting. We started with bright kitchen lights and soft, sugary tones, then let the mood shift once things "went south." The final shot with red and blue lighting brought that cinematic, rebellious energy full circle.

Tattooed, confident, and done waiting around — this one tells a story without needing to explain much.
